VOLUNTEERING

At Stour Valley Dog Rescue, our fundraising events play a vital role in supporting the rescue dogs in our care. We couldn’t do it without the help of dedicated volunteers! Whether it’s assisting at bingo nights, seasonal fairs, raffles, or community events, your support makes a real difference.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet like-minded people, gain new skills, and most importantly, help dogs in need. Roles may include:

Setting up and packing down event spaces

Selling raffle tickets and running stalls

Welcoming guests and managing donations

Helping with refreshments

Assisting with dog-friendly activities

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels—no special skills are required, just a passion for dogs and a willingness to help!
