Purdey came into our care at 13 years old, after her beloved mum had to move into a care home. Not long after, her mum sadly passed away, leaving Purdey confused, grieving, and in need of a new beginning.

Clementine, or Clemmie as she’s lovingly known, arrived with us at the age of 13 from a Romanian shelter. Life hadn’t been easy for her. She bore the signs of hardship, and with arthritis already slowing her down, we knew she might never find a traditional forever home.

But what she could have, and what she so deeply deserved—was a soft landing. A place to rest, to heal, and to finally feel safe.

Now believed to be around 16 or 17, Clemmie is living her best life with her devoted foster mum. She enjoys gentle days, warm beds, tasty meals, and all the love she missed out on for so long.
